Benefitting Emerson Hospital and Concord-Carlisle Community Chest

As we say goodbye to 2020 and welcome 2021 with hope, I want to revisit some of the wonderful people I met last spring and summer as part of the Front Steps Portrait Project (#thefrontstepsproject), an effort to support our community during the COVID-19 crisis..

During a time when we couldn’t work due to the lockdown, I was able to photograph families on their front porches at no charge, from a distance of 10-20’ and, in return, they donated to either Emerson Hospital or the Concord Carlisle Community Chest. I am so thankful for the generosity of these families as they helped our local community and we all found joy in creating these simple family portraits together.
